Our system is considered a 48 Volt Battery, however the nominal voltage of our battery is 51.8 DC Volts.

We will be adding videos of various charge controllers that support our battery product; however if you have your own charge controller it needs to be set to charge NO HIGHER than 56.5 Volts.

As most inverters will not function below 42 volts we recommend not running our batteries below 42 volts.  The batteries will protect themselves from low voltage dis-charge VIA the internal BMS at 40 Volts.

BMS - Battery Management System.  This is the heart of the battery pack.  It controls all the safety features of the battery, and monitors its health, and charges the battery in accordance with the algorithm to maximize the life of your battery pack.

Yes it does!  Even our Mars Rovers, Spirit and Opportunity required battery heaters for their LiO Packs.  We recommend operating the batteries at room temperature between 15° - 25° C / Again the BMS will protect the batteries from extreme temperatures.  As these are the latest in LiO Technology they are a non-gassing battery, encased in a CSA Approved Case, Internally Fused, BMS Over Voltage and Over Current Protected so they are safe to store and use inside your home, cabin, or garage.
